Airtel founded in 7th July 1995 by Sunil Bharti Mittal and head quartered in New Delhi, India. This is the 2nd largest mobile operator in the world and India’s Largest GSM Service with Technology of GSM, EDGE, and HSPA. Airtel provides GSM, 3G and 4G LTE mobile services, fixed line broadband and voice services depending upon the country of operation.
Airtel is the largest mobile operator in South Asia and the third largest in the world with a 303 million subscriber base. Bharti Airtel Limited is part of Bharti Enterprises and is headed by Sunil Bharti Mittal. The company is structured into four strategic business units – mobile, telemedia, enterprise and digital TV. Number of permanent full time and part time employees working in Airtel is 24.67k.
How is Airtel Network Service in my Location ?
Airtel is the first Indian telecom service provider to achieve Cisco Gold Certification. It also acts as a carrier for national and international long distance data communication service. Airtel is the market leader in India with about 228.25 million Subscribers with a market share of 23.25% in the Indian wireless market at the end of April 2015 and growing.
Bharti Airtel operates in all telecom service in India. It has mobile services like 3G and 4G. For 3G services, Airtel won licences in 13 telecom circles of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh (West), Rajasthan, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, North East, and Jammu & Kashmir. It also operates 3G services in Maharastra, Goa and kolkata circles through an agreement with Vodafone and in Gujarat through an agreement with Idea Cellular.
For 4G, Airtel paid 33.143 billion for spectrum in four circles including Maharashtra and Goa, Karnataka, Punjab and Kolkata. Airtel launches 4G services through Dongles and Modems using TD-LTE technology in Kolkata. It is the first company in India to offer the 4G service.
Airtel Network Service Review
Airtel launched 4G services on mobile from February 2014. Bangalore is first city to get the service. After it was started their 4G services in Karnal and Yamunanagar in Haryana. Airtel 4G trials has been started in Delhi from 18 June 2015. Airtel had 1,20,000 4G subscribers as of May 2014. Later, Airtel provides its 4G service coverage in 36 cities.
Airtel offers both prepaid and postpaid services for their customer. It provides more features like, Strong network coverage, Call Management Service, Voice Mail, SMS, MMS, and also it provides more Recharge options. Using Airtel Wifi Service, users can use the service by finding a hotspot and by selecting the ‘airtel WiFi Zone’. Also the Airtel Money is an important service, using this users can transfer money, pay bills and perform other financial transactions directly on the mobile phone.
Most of the subscribers using Airtel because of the fast connectivity and speed network coverage.

Now All the networks have same signal strength and issue. Nobody is good or nobody is bad.
Airtel Network is having maximum no. of users but network coverage is very poor. Call drop issues, voice disturbance, network fluctuation are very frequent with Airtel Network. Response from Airtel Network team is pathetic, they don’t resolve the complaint. Now this situation is same for all networks, i am agree that Airtel is Best, its just another service poriveder.
