 Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) , is the Indian subdivision ofTelecommunication Company of Russian Mobile Telesystems headquatered in New Delhi with 16 million customers as on 2012. . It provides wireless voice, broadband Internet, messaging and data services in India.  MTS provides technology of CDMA, EVDO to main states of India. The ownership shared to Sistema (56.68%), Shyam Group (23.98%), and Russian Governement (17.14%).

MTS provides both 2G and 3G Mobile data services and also postpaid, prepaid services are available. MTS launched Mblaze, EVDO Rev A based high-speed mobile broadband service. MTS MBlaze have its coverage in 100+ cities as of February 2011. It announced the national broadband plan envisages provision of 160 million broadband connection including 60 million wireless broadband connection by the year of 2014.

MTS 3G Plus was announced with the name of MTS Mblaze Ultra, which is capable of having high speed downlink of 9.8 Mbit/s. First it was started with Jaipur, after followed by some metro and other cities of India

In 2013, it announced, its roll out plan of its 3GPLUS network in 9 circles including Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh (West) and West Bengal.

At present the 3GPLUS services are limited to data cards and MiFi devices only. MTS also offers 3GPLUS supported smartphones.  Mblaze Ultra dongles are available at the price of Rs. 1299 for both prepaid and postpaid customers. According to the company, the dongle provides data speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps.

To use the new dongle, prepaid customers have to pay Rs. 1,399 to get an MBlaze Ultra dongle bundled with 10GB of data, with 30 days of validity from the date of activation. Already existing postpaid users, can use Mblaze Ultra dongle for  Rs. 750. The tariff plan Charges will range from Rs. 798 to Rs. 1498 for prepaid subscribers and Rs. 700 to Rs. 1,399 for postpaid customers.

Also MTS rolled out net-neutral internet calling plans for both prepaid and postpaid customers. It offers data for Internet calling. Using this, Customers can use the data for making internet calls using any internet calling application of their choice, be it over WhatsApp, Skype, Viber, Twitter, Flickr etc. As per the plan, users can opt to use 5GB data for 5000 minutes of internet calls. The 5000 minutes of internet call guarantee for 5GB data is calculated basis using the standard voice codecs.
